Olde time blood-letting…

Two things this morning. One (I can’t work out whether some of these are extremely racist, or just plain creepy): Halloween photos from days gone by. There’s an image for every day. Kind of like advent, but without the chocolates.

And the latest cash-in-on-dead-relative story (actually, I can’t remember the last cash-in-on-dead-relative link I posted here, which may make this the first):

Dacre Stoker, who formerly coached the Canadian Olympic pentathlon team and now lives in the US, delved into his ancestor’s handwritten notes on the original Dracula novel to pen his sequel, Dracula: The Un-Dead – the original name of Dracula before an editor changed the title.

Hmn. Dacre Stoker, who formerly coached the Canadian Olympic pentathlon team. Yesss. Elsewhere he’s named as a ‘blood descendant’ of Bram Stoker’s, which is at least in keeping with the theme, but I can’t shake the feeling that this is a tawdry cash-in.

Right. Back to work.
