More wordy nonsense

Been up to my neck in the history of consciousness and the development of our identities, so you’ll have to forgive me, but this is the best I could come up with today.

“Nelson’s proposition suggests another way of approaching the relationship between reader, author and text in new media literature. If a neoplatonic approach to the mystical and emergent in narrative (Nelson discusses the writing of Philip K Dick and H P Lovecraft, among others, providing a clear hint to the particularly ‘unheimlich’ approach she favours) is a possible outcome of our present preoccupation with rediscovering the mystical significance of our lives, then might the suspension of rational episteme in favour of its merging with gnosis; a discovery of narrative rather than a embedding of the same; be a desirous outcome?”

That ought to keep my supervisors happy.
